This popular assay crucible is made of specially selected fire clay to withstand both thermal shock as well as a greater number of heats per crucible than many other crucibles. Two sizes available: 30 gram capacity, measuring 4 x 4 x 2-1/8 inches and a volume of 13.2 cu inches; and 40 gram capacity, measuring 5-1/8 x 3-1/2 x 2-1/2 inches and a volume of 18.6 cu inches.
