GeoClino Digital Clinometer

Measure strike and dip of a surface,  or trend and plunge in a single action.  Up to 999 data sets can be stored in the built-in memory, and you can retrieve the data at any time.  Using the included GeoAssist software,  transfer the data to a computer and produce geologic maps.  The direction indicator is simplified, providing the 16 directions such as NNW (North-North-West), W, N, etc.  Measurable range for strike and trend is 0-359 degrees, while the range for dip is -179 to 179 degrees; and plunge is -89 to 89 degrees.  Resolution is to 1 degree.  AVAILABLE WITH OR WITHOUT GPS: standard GeoClino, and GeoClino-G.  The Geo-Clino-G features a built-in GPS providing geographic location data when saving the measured point.  Each unit is powered by 2 AA batteries, included, providing about 10 hours of constant use in the GeClino-G, and up to 20 hours of constant use in the GeoClino.
