Readability of 0.1 gram, a precision of 0.1 gram, and a capacity to 400 grams. Includes both a 9-volt battery for field use and a 120-volt AC adapter for laboratory use. Platform size is 4.7" diameter, while the overall scale dimensions are 7.5 x 2.2 x 8.3" (194 x 54 x 210mm). Complete with 200 gram calibration weight, battery, and instructions. Shipping weight 4 lbs.
This balance gives you the speed of a direct reading dial. The dial is calibrated from 0 to 10 grams, with a vernier for 0.1 increments. The undivided tare beam allows compensation for the weight of the weighing container. Front beam is calibrated to 500 grams, in 100 gram increments, while the rear beam is to 100 grams in 10 gram increments. Total capacity, with the attachment weight set, is 2610 grams. Sensitivity is 0.1 gram. Dimensions: 18 x 6 x 6". Shipping weight 10 lbs. Complete with attachment weight set.
For crushing small ore samples. Made of hardened alloy tool steel.
Collar between mortar and pestle prevents loss of fragments. Mortar

end reading and a die cast aluminum box and beam. Three notched and
tiered beams; one beam weighing 0 to 10 grams, another weighing 1 to 100
grams, and the third weighing from 0 to 500 grams. Each beam has a
sliding, center-reading poise. Size: 18 x 6 x 6". Shipping weight 8 lbs.
USDA Soil Texturing Kit
With this Soil Texture Kit you can actually feel the different soil textures, using calibrated samples to better undersatnd the differences between the commonly recognized soil textures. Developed to assist geologists, soil scientists, and egineers with soil texture analysis, this Soil Texture Kit features eight 200 ml samples of air dried soils that have been passed through a 1/4" wire screen and then hydrometer tested. The results of the testing are presented with each kit. Each kit contains bagged samples of Loamy Sand, Sandy Loam, Loam, Clay Loam, Silt Loam, Silty Clay Loam, Silty Clay, and Clay. Shipping weight is 6 lbs.

Hardness Pick Set
A complete kit for determining the Moh's hardness value of specimens. Four double-ended testing picks have points made of metals and alloys representing the hardness values of 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9. Each pick measures 5-1/2" long. The rest of the kit consists of: a glass plate (hardness of about 5.5), a second hardness plate (3.5), a sharpening card, a streak plate, a magnet, hardness table, and instructions. The attractive wooden case holds all of the items. Wooden case is 7 x 2.5". Shipping weight 2 lbs.
Universal Specific Gravity Kit
Now you can quickly determine specific gravity using this Kit and an
Electronic Scale (like our DO 572 Portable Electronic Scale). Slide the
base of the Kit under the electronic balance and adjust the position of
the wire frame so it can sit on the pan of the balance and support the
specimen holder. For a balance reading to 0.1 gram, the specific
gravity accuracy is 4.1 grams; if the balance readability is 0.01 gram,
then the specific gravity accuracy is .41 gram; if the balance reads to
0.001 gram, then the specific gravity accuracy is 0.042 gram; and the
for balances reading to 0.0001 gram, the specific gravity accuracy is
0.004 gram. Complete Kit includes base and support, specimen holder,
wire frame, beaker and support, test weight, stainless steel tweezers,
and instructions. Shipping weight 3 lbs.
